Moody & Mysterious · Dark Academia Gothic
A single black rose stands beneath a glowing pale sphere, set against a dripping midnight backdrop.
Dark academia style is all about moody, bookish drama, and this piece fits right in. A single black rose rises on a thorny stem, with deep green leaves branching off to each side. Above it floats a small pale sphere with a soft halo of light and a scatter of tiny white specks.
The background does a lot of the work. A cream and tan patch with ragged, torn-looking edges sits in the middle, dotted with rust-red splatters. Around it, deep blue and charcoal tones run down the sides in long, uneven drips, like streaks of rain on an old wall. The surface looks stained, streaked and worn, with soft blotches where the colors bleed together.
The palette is dark navy, black, cream and rust, which pairs well with walnut shelves, leather chairs, and aged brass. Hang it in a library, a study, a reading nook or a quiet bedroom. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
When will my order arrive?

What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?
