Calm & Delicate · Japandi Botanical Ink

A single camellia, drawn in fine ink lines and washes of pink, set against a pale grid and smoky gray blocks.

A single camellia fills the center of this artwork, drawn in thin dark outlines with soft pink washing out to white at the petal tips. Deeper rose gathers near the middle, around a cream center ringed with fine yellow-tipped stamens. Tiny veins run along every petal, and the edges look slightly uneven, like quick ink strokes.

Behind the flower, a pale linen-colored ground carries a loose grid of thin lines and a few smudged blocks of smoky gray. Two charcoal leaves with serrated edges and fine hatching sit below the bloom. Scattered black ink dots and a few pink flecks add a loose, sketchbook feel. Camellia is a favorite among flower collectors, and this study shows why: layered, rounded petals around a bright center.

The muted palette of blush pink, charcoal and warm cream suits a calm Japandi home. Hang it in a bedroom above a low wooden dresser, in an entryway, or in a quiet sitting room with natural wood and soft linen. It also pairs well with other minimalist botanical studies in black and white.

Frequently Asked Questions

Canvas, framed art print or art print — what's the difference?

Canvas is printed on textured cotton-polyester canvas and stretched over slim 0.79" (2 cm) wood bars — finished at the edges and ready to hang, with or without a floating frame. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.

When will my order arrive?

Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Your estimated delivery date is shown right below the Add to Cart button and already accounts for production and shipping. Shipping is free on all US orders.

What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?

Just email us at info@maisoncanvas.com within 60 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or a refund. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or an incorrect size selection. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?

We work hard to show every piece as accurately as possible. Screens differ in brightness and color settings, so the printed colors can look very slightly different from what you see on your device.

How do I care for my artwork?

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture, cleaning sprays and long periods of direct sunlight to keep the colors at their best.
