Calm & Quiet · Japandi Botanical Sketch
A single magnolia branch is drawn in fine pen lines and soft washes, with a smudge of blue-gray ink pooling at its base.
A large magnolia bloom opens at the center of this botanical drawing, its creamy petals shaded with pale pink near the middle. Two closed buds sit on the same slender dark branch, one at the upper right and one at the left. Fine pen lines trace each petal and leaf, and the leaves carry soft gray and blue-gray washes.
The background is a warm cream, divided into uneven blocks by thin, cracked lines, with faint stains and tiny ink speckles scattered across it. A patch of blue-gray ink spreads near the base of the stem and gives the lower edge some weight. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
