Calm & Spirited · Rustic Western Realism

A horse faces forward with a steady gaze while its mane streams sideways, as if a gust just passed.

A feeling of calm strength runs through this horse portrait. The chestnut horse looks straight out with dark, steady eyes and ears pricked forward. A white stripe runs down its face. Its mane blows sideways in loose strands of teal, dark blue and tan.

The background looks like old vertical boards in cream, pale blue and soft tan. Rust-orange patches, fine dark speckles and worn spots show through, so the surface looks scuffed and weathered. The warm coat stands out against the faded planks, and the whole scene feels quiet and unhurried.

This horse wall art suits a western, ranch or farmhouse home. Hang it over a living room sofa, in an entryway, above a bedroom dresser or in a cozy den. The cream, rust and teal blend easily with leather, wood tones and denim blues. It also pairs well with country decor, plaid throws and vintage touches. For anyone who loves horses and rustic decor, it brings a steady, welcoming feel to the wall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Canvas, framed art print or art print — what's the difference?

Canvas is printed on textured cotton-polyester canvas and stretched over slim 0.79" (2 cm) wood bars — finished at the edges and ready to hang, with or without a floating frame. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.

When will my order arrive?

Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Your estimated delivery date is shown right below the Add to Cart button and already accounts for production and shipping. Shipping is free on all US orders.

What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?

Just email us at info@maisoncanvas.com within 60 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or a refund. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or an incorrect size selection. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?

We work hard to show every piece as accurately as possible. Screens differ in brightness and color settings, so the printed colors can look very slightly different from what you see on your device.

How do I care for my artwork?

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture, cleaning sprays and long periods of direct sunlight to keep the colors at their best.
