A ring of dark fish turns around a pale, cracked center, drawn with fine curved lines.
Japandi rooms rely on quiet shapes, a limited palette and a little worn character. This artwork fits that approach. A school of dark fish swims in a wide circle, each one drawn with fine, scratched-looking lines and a slightly rough edge.
The fish follow a spiral that thickens into black and blue-gray toward the lower right. Thousands of tiny curved strokes make the swirl look carved into the surface. At the center, a pale round space stays almost empty, and thin cracks run across it. The cream and ivory background is marked with uneven crack lines and soft tan patches, like an old wall.
The palette is simple: black, slate blue, warm cream and soft brown. It sits easily above a low wooden bench in an entryway, over a bed with natural linen, or in a calm living room with light oak and neutral textiles.
