A single moth rests wings open against a wall of wine red and soot black, like a page from an old naturalist's collection.
Above a library desk or a reading chair, a pale moth with wings spread wide makes a quiet focal point. Its cream wings are covered in fine scratched lines that fan out from the body, and each wing carries a dark ring eyespot. Two long curved tails trail down, and the feathery antennae reach up into the red.
The background shifts from deep burgundy at the top to near-black below. Thin pale cracks run across it, so the whole image has the look of an old, worn wall. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
