Moody & Dramatic · Dark Academia Gothic
A single thorned rose stands under a dark sphere, set against a cream patch with blue-gray streaks and rust-colored spots.
A quiet, moody mood sets the tone here. One deep burgundy rose sits at the center, its petals folded in tight, shadowed layers. The stem is thin and lined with sharp thorns, with a few dark green leaves along the way.
Above the rose, a dark round sphere hangs in the air with a soft pale glow around it. Behind both, a rough cream patch fills the middle of the scene. Blue-gray streaks frame it on every side, and rust-orange speckles are scattered across the surface. Thin pale lines run down from the cream patch like drips, so the whole image looks aged, scratched and a little worn.
The colors are dark and rich, which makes this a strong choice for dark academia decor, gothic romance and moody botanical wall art. Canvas is printed on textured cotton-polyester canvas and stretched over slim 0.79" (2 cm) wood bars — finished at the edges and ready to hang, with or without a floating frame. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
