Warm & Cozy · Rustic Farmhouse Still Life
A quiet farmhouse corner: a cracked crock of sunflowers resting on a shelf in front of faded wooden boards.
Sunflowers are one of the few flowers that follow the sun across the sky, and this artwork gathers a full bouquet of them in an old two-handled crock. Golden-yellow petals open around dark brown centers, with olive and tan leaves reaching out on thin stems. A few leaves have drifted onto the shelf below.
The crock is the quiet star here. Its glaze looks crackled and rubbed thin, with patches of rust-orange and soft cream showing through the honey-brown surface. Behind it, tall wooden boards look worn and streaky, with pale paint chipped away in uneven strips. The brushwork is thick and layered, with short, choppy strokes in the petals and smooth, dragged strokes on the boards.
Warm yellow, amber and creamy beige make this an easy fit for a farmhouse kitchen, a dining room, an entryway or a cozy reading corner. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
