An owl keeps its post on an old fence while the open field stretches out behind it.
Above a fireplace mantel or a leather sofa, this owl gives a western room a steady focal point. A great horned owl sits on top of a worn fence post, facing the viewer with bright amber eyes and two dark feather tufts. Its chest is creamy white with fine brown barring, and the wings show a speckled pattern of black, tan and gray.
The post is rough and uneven, with flaking pale gray paint and dark cracks in the wood. Barbed wire runs off to both sides. Behind it, a dry field in golden tan and honey stretches to a low horizon under a soft gray sky. The background looks like thick, scraped paint in broad, uneven strokes, which keeps the owl sharp and detailed against it.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
