A worn stone head rests under a living crown of leaves and roses, calm in spite of its chips and breaks.
A calm, contemplative mood runs through this portrait of a classical head. The face is tilted slightly upward, with closed eyes and a softly set mouth. It looks serene and a little wistful, like someone lost in thought.
A thick wreath of ivy sits on the head, with small pale pink roses tucked among the dark green leaves. The face and neck are painted in soft grays and creams, with rough, chipped patches along the cheek, nose, chin and neck. The base ends in a jagged, broken edge. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
