Calm & Quiet · Japandi Garden Scene

A view through an open doorway, where a stone path leads toward a wooden door in a quiet courtyard.

Warm honey brown, soft cream and muted gray set the mood here. A wooden doorway stands open, framed by sliding panels with worn, chalky surfaces in pale white and gray, patched with bits of amber and tan. Beyond it, a path of flat stones winds past green shrubs toward a lattice door under a dark tiled roof. A small tree with pale yellow leaves leans into the soft light.

The palette is calm and natural, which makes this Japanese garden doorway art easy to place. Brown wood tones pair well with oak furniture, linen upholstery and cream walls. The gray stone and leafy green add a gentle cool note, so the piece also sits well with sage, taupe and warm white color schemes.

Hang it in an entryway, hallway, living room or bedroom, where the open door draws the eye inward. It suits japandi, neutral and minimalist decor, and it looks lovely above a console table, a bench or a simple wooden dresser.

Frequently Asked Questions

Canvas, framed art print or art print — what's the difference?

Canvas is printed on textured cotton-polyester canvas and stretched over slim 0.79" (2 cm) wood bars — finished at the edges and ready to hang, with or without a floating frame. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.

When will my order arrive?

Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Your estimated delivery date is shown right below the Add to Cart button and already accounts for production and shipping. Shipping is free on all US orders.

What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?

Just email us at info@maisoncanvas.com within 60 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or a refund. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or an incorrect size selection. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?

We work hard to show every piece as accurately as possible. Screens differ in brightness and color settings, so the printed colors can look very slightly different from what you see on your device.

How do I care for my artwork?

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture, cleaning sprays and long periods of direct sunlight to keep the colors at their best.
