A cello leans against a deep purple velvet drape in this moody still life. The wood glows in warm copper and chestnut, with lighter patches where the light catches the curved body. The scroll, tuning pegs, f-holes, strings and long dark fingerboard are all clearly drawn. The spike at the bottom touches a pale, mottled floor.
Here is a detail collectors tend to notice. The cello's face is not smooth and glossy. It looks mottled and slightly worn, with darker flecks across the warm brown. The velvet is just as rich. How do I choose the right size?

Does it arrive ready to hang?
