A small wooden chapel stands alone on the open desert while a huge moon rises over a restless red sky.
Chalky white, deep charcoal and rust red set the mood here. A small wooden chapel stands alone on a pale desert floor, its bell tower topped with a simple cross. The boards are streaked with rust-colored patches, and the arched door and windows sit dark against the front.
A large full moon hangs at the upper left, gray and cratered. Heavy clouds roll across the sky in black, slate blue and glowing red, with the red deepest near the horizon. Low mountains sit far behind the church, and dry tufts of desert brush dot the ground in front.
The brushwork looks thick and layered, with broad, rough strokes in the clouds and moon and a dry, scraped finish on the chapel walls. The red and black palette ties in well with dark leather, black iron, weathered wood and warm brown tones. It suits a western den, a moody bedroom, an entryway or a rustic living room. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
