Moody & Elegant · Dark Academia Botanical
A single flower stands against a worn cream ground, framed by dark edges and streaks of plum and rust.
Deep plum, ivory and charcoal black set the tone here. A large anemone with white petals fading to purple at the base rises on a slender dark stem. Its center is nearly black, ringed with blue-violet filaments and tiny white dots.
Behind the flower, the cream background looks aged and uneven, with rust-orange stains and soft tan patches. Thin dark drips run down from the top edge and from the black border below. Purple splatters gather on the right side and echo the color in the petals. Two sets of green, feathery leaves anchor the base of the stem.
The rich palette suits dark academia decor, where charcoal, burgundy and warm parchment tones already play well together. Hang it in a library, study, or reading nook beside leather chairs and dark wood shelves. It also works in a bedroom with plum or gray bedding, or in an entryway with black accents. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
