Moody & Quiet · Dark Academia Botanical
A lone dried seed pod stands tall against a backdrop of running rust, wine and faded teal.
A single plum-purple poppy pod rises on a long, slim stem, topped with a small crown of pale, ridged petals. It sits in the middle of a ragged cream shape with torn, uneven edges and a few dark specks scattered across it.
Around that cream center, deep burgundy and rust-brown colors run down in long, thin drips. The lower half fades into soft teal-gray streaks, so the warm top and cool bottom meet in a moody, muted blend. The look is dark academia botanical: quiet, a little worn, and full of contrast.
This piece works well in a gallery wall. Its tall, upright shape makes a strong center piece beside smaller framed botanicals, vintage book plates or moody landscapes in similar wine, rust and gray tones. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
