Warm & Nostalgic · Rustic Farmhouse Still Life
A well-used red jar holds a loose handful of daisies and wild stems against old, flaking boards.
A red jar with a ring of gold-toned metal around the top holds a loose bunch of white daisies, deep red blooms and thin, wandering stems. The jar is scuffed and worn, with patches of cream and gold showing through the red, and faint raised lettering on its side. Jars like this one were once everyday kitchen workhorses. Here it is simply a vase, which is part of the charm.
Behind it, tall plank boards in cream, pale blue-gray and rusty brown look chipped and peeling, with dark seams between each board. The surface looks thick and rough, as if the colors were scraped on in broad strokes. A warm orange-brown shelf runs along the bottom, with cracks and uneven grain.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
