A jug of red poppies and wheat sits by a window, with a soft field glowing in the background.
Poppies and wheat in a rounded earthenware jug make a still life with real presence. Six red poppies open above the rim, with golden wheat ears fanning out behind them. A few more blooms and wheat stalks lie on the stone ledge in front, which gives the scene a relaxed, lived-in feel.
The surface looks thick and brushed, as if the paint had been laid on in short, heavy strokes. You see it most on the jug, where cream, tan and warm brown patches overlap. Behind the jug, a dark wood window frame sets off the bright red petals. Through the opening, a pale field of grasses and a soft gray sky look hazy and calm.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
