A lean gray hound sits upright beside an old column, watching you from a wall that has seen better days.
Dark academia style is all about old libraries, worn walls and quiet stories, and this piece fits right in. A lean gray hound sits tall and still, amber eyes fixed straight ahead, long ears folded back and a calm look on its face.
Beside the dog stands a classical column with a carved top and tall fluted sides. The cream wall behind it is patchy and uneven, with rust-red streaks running down from the top edge and soft orange stains spread across the plaster. Dry brown leaves and dark shrubs crowd the lower corners, and the dog rests on flat, cracked stone slabs. The surface looks thickly brushed, with rough, dabbed strokes and scratchy marks throughout.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
