Quiet & Contemplative · Moody Woodland Ruins

A lone stag stands in tall grass between broken stone walls, with pink flowers growing at his feet.

A stag with wide, branching antlers stands in the middle of this scene and looks straight out at you. His coat is warm tan with pale spots across the shoulder, and his chest hangs in dark, shaggy fur. Around him, tall grass and thin stems rise in soft sage and gray-green, dotted with a few pink blossoms.

On both sides, stepped stone walls crumble into the haze. The sky is a pale cream wash with faint blush clouds and small ink speckles. Fine pen-like lines trace the grass, leaves and antler tips, while the colors bleed and run together like wet paint on paper. The palette stays muted: stone gray, moss, cream, a touch of rose.

This wall art suits a study, library nook, reading corner, living room or quiet entryway. It pairs well with dark wood shelves, aged brass, cream linens and shelves of old books. It would make a thoughtful gift for someone who loves old architecture, country walks or a good novel by the fire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Canvas, framed art print or art print — what's the difference?

Canvas is printed on textured cotton-polyester canvas and stretched over slim 0.79" (2 cm) wood bars — finished at the edges and ready to hang, with or without a floating frame. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.

Does it arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.

When will my order arrive?

Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Your estimated delivery date is shown right below the Add to Cart button and already accounts for production and shipping. Shipping is free on all US orders.

What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?

Just email us at info@maisoncanvas.com within 60 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or a refund. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or an incorrect size selection. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Will the colors look the same as on my screen?

We work hard to show every piece as accurately as possible. Screens differ in brightness and color settings, so the printed colors can look very slightly different from what you see on your device.

How do I care for my artwork?

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture, cleaning sprays and long periods of direct sunlight to keep the colors at their best.
