Calm & Watchful · Rustic Western Wildlife
A watchful fox rests in dry golden grass, set against pale boards that look faded by years outdoors.
Burnt orange, honey gold and creamy white make up the palette here. A red fox sits upright in tall dry grass, its ears pointed, its amber eyes turned to the side. White fur shows at the chest and the tip of the long tail, with dark legs and ear tips for contrast.
Behind the fox, vertical boards in soft white and gray look scuffed and worn, with gaps and dark seams between each plank. Brushy strokes of mustard, ochre and brown fill the grass, and the seed heads rise in thin, uneven lines. The surface looks streaky and layered, a little rough at the edges, like paint dragged over old fence wood.
This warm mix of orange, gold and cream ties together easily with tan leather, cream linens, brown wood furniture and rust-colored throws. It suits a farmhouse living room, a cozy den, an entryway or a bedroom with neutral walls. If you like western decor and wildlife art in a warm color scheme, a fox in golden grass is a calm, friendly choice.
Canvas Features
Texture You Can See
A cotton-polyester canvas (300–350 gsm) gives every brushstroke and layer a soft, painterly surface — the look of a painting, not a poster.
Slim, Modern Profile
At 0.79" (2 cm) deep, the canvas sits close to the wall for a clean, contemporary look. It arrives with the hanging kit included, ready to hang.
Made for Real Rooms
Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Find the size that fits your wall and pair it with other pieces from the same collection.
Framed Canvas Features
Striking Floating Frame
Your canvas is mounted inside a floating frame with a slim 0.47" gap all around. The artwork seems to hover within the frame, adding depth and a finished, gallery-style look.
Solid Wood Frame
Choose black, natural wood or dark wood. Each frame is made of poplar or pine wood and frames the canvas without covering any part of the image.
Depth That Stands Out
With a frame depth of 1.65", the piece has a real presence on the wall. It arrives with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger, ready to hang.

Frequently Asked Questions
Canvas, framed art print or art print — what's the difference?
Canvas is printed on textured cotton-polyester canvas and stretched over slim 0.79" (2 cm) wood bars — finished at the edges and ready to hang, with or without a floating frame. A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
When will my order arrive?
Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Your estimated delivery date is shown right below the Add to Cart button and already accounts for production and shipping. Shipping is free on all US orders.
What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?
Just email us at info@maisoncanvas.com within 60 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or a refund. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or an incorrect size selection. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Will the colors look the same as on my screen?
We work hard to show every piece as accurately as possible. Screens differ in brightness and color settings, so the printed colors can look very slightly different from what you see on your device.
How do I care for my artwork?
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture, cleaning sprays and long periods of direct sunlight to keep the colors at their best.
