A pale horse steps out of shadow, caught in a streak of light between dark stone arches.
A white horse walks straight toward you down a long arched corridor, head turned slightly to one side, eyes calm and watchful. Its mane and tail look soft and pale gold against the deep teal and near-black of the stone around it. Patches of light fall across the floor and the tall arches on the right.
The surface of this image looks thick and layered, as if built from short, broad strokes of cream, teal, charcoal and flecks of burnt orange. The edges of the columns are rough and uneven, and the floor breaks into streaks of blue and ivory. That contrast between a bright subject and a dark setting gives the scene its moody, scholarly feel.

A framed art print is printed on premium matte paper and arrives in a pine wood frame behind shatterproof plexiglass, ready to hang. An art print is the unframed paper print, for when you'd like to choose your own frame. You'll find the exact details for your selection under Product Specifications.
How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas and framed art prints arrive ready to hang with the hanging hardware included; framed canvas and framed art prints come with a pre-installed sawtooth hanger. Art prints are shipped unframed.
When will my order arrive?
Every piece is printed to order in the USA. Your estimated delivery date is shown right below the Add to Cart button and already accounts for production and shipping. Shipping is free on all US orders.
What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?
Just email us at info@maisoncanvas.com within 60 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and we'll send a free replacement or a refund. Because every piece is made to order, we can't accept returns for a change of mind or an incorrect size selection. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Will the colors look the same as on my screen?
We work hard to show every piece as accurately as possible. Screens differ in brightness and color settings, so the printed colors can look very slightly different from what you see on your device.
How do I care for my artwork?
