A single flower studied up close, set against scraps of old paper in cream, sage and rose.
Plum purple, olive green and warm cream share the space in this hellebore study. Five large petals fan out around a pale, fringed center. Some petals are deep wine with darker speckles. Others fade from olive to soft ivory, with fine veins running through them.
Behind the flower, patches of paper in cream, blush and faded sage overlap like pages from an old album. Edges look rough and uneven. Rusty brown spots and stains add to the worn feel. A few sage panels carry a pale, lacy pattern. Below, two dark green leaves with sawtooth edges frame the stems.
This muted palette ties together a study, library or reading nook. It sits well with dark wood, leather chairs, deep green walls and brass lamps. How do I choose the right size?
Measure the wall space you want to fill. Above a sofa or bed, a piece about two-thirds of the furniture's width usually looks balanced. For smaller walls, nooks or gallery walls, smaller sizes work well. Our Size Guide shows every size in a room setting for comparison.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
